The Company’s main asset is the Martabe Gold and Silver Mine, located in North Sumatra, Indonesia. The mine is built to the relevant international codes and standards, including seismic criteria, environmental standards and engineering criteria. It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commerce commissioning at the end of 2010 with first gold poured in early 2011. The plant is capable of producing at rate of 250,000 oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.

Martabe Gold Project with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum. Martabe with a resources base of 6.5M oz gold and 66M oz silver will form the core starter asset around which a globally competitive, Asian-Pacific focused gold company will be built. G-Resources seeks to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.

To strengthen the existing team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, Martabe Gold Mine is looking for a top calibre candidate to fill in a role:

MECHANICAL SPECIALIST REBUILD SUPERVISOR (PRO 0317)

This position will be based at Martabe site and Processing Department. Reports directly to Senior Mechanical Coordinator.

This position would be responsible to provide hands-on support for the Mechanical Supervisor, so as to ensure that all the rebuild maintenance components, modifications, servicing and installation activities carried out by the mechanical maintenance team are performed in a professional, safe, diligent, timely, cost efficient and cost effective manner, whilst taking into consideration the priority requirements of the Process Plants and associated infrastructures mechanical plant, equipment & apparatus being attended to.

This role is for a specialist who has rebuild experience in process plant mechanical items such as gear boxes, pumps, valves, fabrication and welding components, machining skills to eliminate rework in the mechanical departments.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Graduated from Polytechnic / Technical training institute or approved Apprenticeship with Mechanical (Fitter / Welder / Boilermaker) qualifications.
2. Minimum 10 years relevant mineral processing plant experience with Crushing, Grinding equipment and minimum of 5 years at a supervisory level within the mining sector.
3. Familiar with crushers, gearboxes, pumps, valves and workshop equipment.
4. Must have an excellent understanding of the English language and be able to communicate both written and spoken.
5. Ability to plan and supervise the work of others based on PM schedules, shutdown and breakdown requirements on a shift, daily and weekly basis.
6. Possess a valid recognised Drivers licence.
7. Must be able to interpret mechanical engineering drawings and communicate to other tradesmen.
8. Ability to develop Safe Working Procedures and demonstrate these to subordinates.
9. Ability to estimate the amounts of labour, materials, and equipment required for tasks / projects.
10. Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Internet.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR (PRO 0318)

This position will be based at Martabe site and Processing Department, working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Mechanical Superintendent and Mechanical Coordinator.

The role of the Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator is responsible to :
• Provide mechanical departmental support for the Mechanical Superintendent and the Senior Coordinator with daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
• Provide mechanical departmental support in guidance for PM inspection and development.
• Provide guidance and support for the mechanical supervisors to help develop their skills.
• Coordinate supervisory resources to ensure that the weekly work plans are safely executed with a high level of compliance to the weekly work plans
• Review the weekly maintenance plans in conjunction with the supervisors to prioritizing plant requirements
• Ensure effective communication is maintained between the supervisory teams across operations and maintenance departments.
• Identify areas for development with Training Needs Analysis.
• Provide safety guidance and work place inspections identifying areas for improvements to be a solid safety culture.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Graduation from a recognised TAFE or Technical collage obtaining an Engineering trade qualification
2. 5 years or more in supervisory roles or higher in a mineral processing plant
3. Over 7 years experience in the mechanical industry.
4. Thorough knowledge of technical skills development in a developing country, training techniques, standards, equipment, tools used in the mechanical engineering trades.
5. Thorough knowledge of occupational health and safety within the mineral processing industry.
6. Effective skills to be able to develop a national workforce in the correct maintenance, installation, alignment and fault finding of mechanical plant in a mineral processing environment.
7. A good understanding on the mechanical workings and maintenance of material handling, crushing, grinding and commutation circuits, pumping and pipeline systems
8. Capable of supervising a workforce of national maintenance personnel in the execution of planned and breakdown work on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
9. Superior work ethic, be able to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to the local people and their culture
10. Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Internet.
11. Proficient in English skills both written and spoken
12. Preferably those who have External Leadership and Senior First-Aid qualifications, Slewing and non–slewing crane licences, Cert IV in Training & Assessing and CIL gold plant experience.
